INTERIOR PAINTING:
Setup

Rooms and areas to be painted are scheduled with the customer. Large furniture is moved into the center of the room. Wall and ceiling fixture are removed. Furniture is covered with plastic. Floors are covered with drop cloths.
Painting
Repaired areas are primed. Paint is applied with a brush, roller or sprayer depending on the surface. Ceiling and walls are painted to proper coverage and finish color. Clean cut lines between trim & walls. Only premium quality paints are used.
Clean-up
Furniture is moved back to original positions. Wall and ceiling fixtures are replaced. Floors and carpets are thoroughly vacuumed and swept. All trash is removed. Touch-up paint is labeled and left with the customer.
Inspection
Before the crew packs up their equipment, a "wet walk-around" is done to ensure all contracted areas are painted properly. Final touch-ups are noted on a 'punch list' & are completed before the crew leaves the final day.

EXTERIOR PAINTING:
Powerwashing
Environmentally-friendly detergent or bleach is used to remove dirt & mildew as required.
Delicate areas are hand-washed. Loose paint chips are cleaned up. House is given time to dry. Driveways & decks cleaned upon request.
Scraping, Priming, & Minor Maintenance
All loose paint is removed, sanded, and all bare areas are primed. Glossy areas are scuff-sanded.
Feather-sanding and stripping always done. Areas around doors and windows are caulked, window panes receive new putty where necessary. Wood, masonry and stucco repairs available upon request or when specified on the contract.
Painting
Full finish coat is applied to proper coverage & finish. All non-painted surfaces are covered to protect against splatter & drips. Paint is applied with a brush, roller, or sprayer
depending on the surface. Second coat is available upon request or when specified on the contract. Only premium quality paints are used.
Clean-up
Performed daily and upon completion of the job. All trash is removed.
Plant beds cleaned and paint chips removed. Touch-up paint is labeled & left with the customer. Outdoor fixtures & furniture replaced.

WALL PAPERING:
In installing wallcoverings, the key once again is preparation. Cracks and/or imperfections in wall surfaces are repaired. Sometimes a primer is required to seal unsound surfaces.
To assure adhesion, we use a latex wall prep and the proper adhesive to go with your wallcovering.

WALLPAPER REMOVAL:
Most wallcoverings can be removed from walls, by a trained professional, with little difficulty. We spray the surface with a mixture of hot water and an enzyme based wallpaper remover. The enzyme breaks down the starch in the adhesive, and allows the old paper to be scraped off. Whether wet stripping or dry stripping wallcoverings, we always wash paste from the walls. If a previously papered area is to be repainted, we recommend a coat of oil primer to seal any adhesive that might be left after washing. Using an oil primer eliminates peeling or flaking of the finish coat.

AIRLESS SPRAYING & HVLP:
Airless spraying is a method of spray application that does not directly use compressed air to atomize the coating material. Hydraulic pressure is used to atomize the fluid by pumping it at high pressure (500-4,500 psi) through a small orifice (0.007-0.072 in.) spray nozzle tip located at the front of the airless gun. The main benefit of airless atomization is speed of application. It is the fastest method of spray atomization. This process can deliver twice the amount of material as a compressed air system. Other advantages include improved transfer efficiency due to a reduction in fog and overspray, the ability to spray into recesses and cavities with a minimum of material bounce-back, and reduced spray booth maintenance.
